Albarn will present his Doctor Dee opera that tells a story of 16th century scientist John Dee. The opera premiered last year.

Based on The Science Of Imaginary Solutions from Transit Transit, the music video is directed by Thomas McMahan who used paintings by Mark Whalen.

First single Love Interruption will be released on 7 inch vinyl on February 7 this year. Machine Gun Silhouette will be featured on single’s b-side.

Acts added to the bill include The Rapture, Rufus Wainwright, The Chameleons, etc. The Cure, Death Cab For Cutie, Franz Ferdinand, The xx were confirmed earlier.

The release entitled Nowhere will be issued on limited number of 500 7 inch vinyl records through Captured Tracks.

In a recent interview for NME, band frontman Justin Young said that the band will enter the studio in Belgium in March so that the album is out this year.

Happy Mondays will play a tour in May. They’ve scheduled shows in Manchester, London, Newcastle, Birmingham, Glasgow, Bournemouth, Sheffield, Leeds and Dublin.

The festival is to take place on June 1-4 in Shropshire’s Oswestry Showground, UK. Razorlight are to perform on June 3.
