Last week the Scottish trio Biffy Clyro urged their fans to take part at the opening process of their new album’s artwork. The cover art of Opposites was unveiling gradually with every tweet that included #biffyopposites hashtag. Fans were quite impatient, obviously, and opened the whole artwork in the same day. You can see it above.

The art is made by Storm Thorgerson, who’s also the author of Biffy Clyro’s previous two album artworks, Only Revolutions and Puzzle, and has an impressive portfolio in rock history overall, having designed art for Pink Floyd, Led Zeppein, Muse, The Mars Volta and so on.

As we’ve already reported, Biffy Clyro is to release Opposites on January 28, 2013. The double record consists of two parts, titled The Sand at the Core of Our Bones and The Land at the End of Our Toes. Here’s the full tracklisting of Opposites:
