Bloc Party - Four

Bloc Party - Four

Here it is, announcement about long-awaited new album of Bloc Party. Entitled Four (yep, it’s band’s fourth studio album), the follow-up to Intimacy is out on August 21 in North America and August 20 internationally. It’s Bloc Party’s debut on their new label Frenchkiss.

There were rumours about splitting of the band but now that’s in the past. You can see Four artwork on the right. Bloc Party also revealed album trailer and tour dates. See those below.

There’s also a blog post from band frontman Kele Okereke on his blog regarding new album. It reads: “There have been babies, breakdowns, tantrums and hospitalisations but its finally here. We started making this record in NY in the winter of 2011. We didn’t want to let the world know so we told a lie that got out of hand but it made us laugh in the process, which brought us closer together.” Read the full post here.
