Crystal Castles

Few days ago, on September 19, Crystal Castles posted quite a laconic update at their Facebook page about the release date of their upcoming new album. The post was as follows: “new album = november”. This immediately discarded all the previous rumours about the album coming out by the end of September.

Crystal Castles’ yet untitled third studio album was recorded in Poland and produced by band’s own Ethan Kath. The album will be released in USA through Universal Republic/Casablancas, and through Fiction in UK. It’s fairly safe to assume that the lately released song Plague, as well as Wrath Of God introduced by the band at their Reading festival show, might be featured on the new album.

“I didn’t think I could lose faith in humanity any more than I already had, but after witnessing some things, it feels like the world is a dystopia where victims don’t get justice and corruption prevails. I’m one step away from being a vigilante to protect people and bring justice to the people I love. I’ve thought about it,” Alice Glass said according to Pitchfork.
