Damon Albarn to headline Honeyfest 2012

Blur and Gorillaz leader Damon Albarn will headline British Honeyfest 2012. Albarn will present his Doctor Dee opera that tells a story of 16th century scientist John Dee. The opera premiered last year.
As reported by NME, among other acts Honeyfest 2012 will feature performances by BBC Sound Of 2012 nominees Dry The River, Rae Morris, Nick Harper, Cut A Shine and Kidnap Alice.
The festival will take place on April 14 in Marlborough, Wiltshire. Visit event’s official website for more information.
As of Doctor Dee, the opera is also set to run in London’s Coliseum this summer.
