Jack White confirmed Radiohead collaboration with Third Man Records

Jack White confirmed that Radiohead have been recently recording at his Third Man Records studio. Speaking to BBC 6 Music, he didn’t want to reveal much of Radiohead’s plans, but did say that the band used his record studio lately when they were touring in US.

“I don’t know how much to tell about it except that I didn’t play with them or produce,” said White, “But they came in and recorded at Third Man. And I don’t know what else they want to be said about that so that’s all I probably can say”.

When back in June during one of Radiohead’s American shows Thom Yorke had dedicated a song to Jack White and hinted they were going to do something special together soon, fans did set their hopes high for new collaborative material. But though Jack White revealed that he had nothing to do with band’s recording whatsoever, there’s a chance that Radiohead indeed recorded new material, and the result might be released as a special part of Third Man Record’s Blue Series.

Speaking about his own plans, White revealed that he wants to be done with his tour as soon as possible and get back to studio with his tour musicians to work on new songs: “I keep wanting to record with the musicians I’m on tour with. We’ve turned into a family on tour, and it’s so different from when we made the record. I’m itching to record with them right now, and work on some new music.”
