NY-based Sonic Youth are set to release a new live album on November 13, recorded during band’s show in Chicago’s Smart Bar in 1985, when the band were touring in support of their 1985 album Bad Moon Rising. The album is called simply Smart Bar – Chicago 1985. Aside from Bad Moon Rising tracks, it will also include early versions of Secret Girl and Expressway to Yr. Skull, later recorded for their 1986 album EVOL, as well as a never released live version of Kat ‘N’ Hat.
