Listen to new Depeche Mode song with possible title Angel Of Love
After teasing fans with a mysterious countdown on their website, Depeche Mode held a press conference in Paris yesterday, October 23, and streamed it online live. You may watch the whole recording of the event below. As rumored earlier, the band announced a tour and revealed plans about new album release. Tour dates are already known: the shows start on May 7, 2013, in Tel Aviv, Israel, and are scheduled up till the end of July so far. You can take a look at the full list of confirmed dates below.
As Slicing Up Eyeballs reports, Depeche Mode didn’t tell much about their upcoming new record, other than it’s produced by Ben Hillie and band’s own Martin Gore himself. The album will consist of 20 songs, and in Martin’s words, they sound somewhere in between Violator and Songs of Faith and Devotion, band’s albums from the beginning of 90s. The yet untitled record will be out before Depeche Mode start their tour, which makes it the beginning of spring or so.
The band did publish a new video, though, featuring a new song with an unknown title. Based on the lyrics, the song is probably called Angel Of Love. The video itself is a studio collage from when the band was recording new material.
Depeche Mode’s latest album as of now, Sounds of the Universe, was released back in 2009.
