As announced earlier, Blur performed two new songs live on July 2. Streaming of the band playing on a roof in London was available at band’s official website, you may watch it below. The streaming first featured the performance of Under The Westway, and The Puritan was played an hour later. Blur will be playing those two new songs during their Olympics 2012 closing show in London’s Hyde Park on August 12.

Under The Westway and The Puritan will be released as a single on double-A 7″ vinyls on August 6. The single is already available for pre-order from band’s official website.

As told by Blur’s bassist Alex James on air of BBC 6 Music’s Steve Lamacq’s show, he doesn’t have any idea what will happen with the band next, or will anything happen again at all.
