Radiohead and Jude Law team up with Greenpeace for Save The Arctic campaign video

Greenpeace - Save The Arctic

Radiohead teamed up with Jude Law, this time collaborating on a Greenpeace video in support of Save the Arctic campaign. It shows a homeless polar bear wondering in London: it has nowhere to go since Arctic is melting because of global warming.

The video narrated by Jude Law features Radiohead track Everything In Its Right Place, from their 2000 album Kid A. Commenting on the video, Jude Law said: “As the Arctic sea ice melts, polar bears are being forced to go far beyond their normal habitat to find food and look after their young. This film is a powerful expression of how our fates are intertwined, because climate change is affecting all of us no matter where we live.”

Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke said: “We have to stop the oil giants pushing into the Arctic. An oil spill in the Arctic would devastate this region of breathtaking beauty, while burning that oil will only add to the biggest problem we all face, climate change. That’s why I’m backing this campaign.”
