The Killers

The Killers recently spoke to Rolling Stone and revealed the title of their new studio effort. Entitled Battle Born, band’s fourth studio album is more likely to come out this fall. Speaking of the title, frontman Brandon Flowers said: “In a sense, all Americans are battle born. Our ancestors came here for something better.”

The work on the new album might have been hard, according to drummer Ronnie Vannucci who stated: “It’s living up to its title. This is our difficult fourth record.”

Several songs were mentioned to be included in the tracklist: Heart Of A Girl, Flesh And Bone, Carry Me Home, Runaways. Producers involved in the works include Stuart Price, Steve Lillywhite, Damian Taylor and Brendan O’Brien.

Battle Born is the follow-up to Day & Age (2008). The Killers recently contributed to Tim Burton’s new movie Dark Shadows, covering Raspberries’ Go All The Way. You can hear the poor quality version of the track below.
