The Vaccines

The Vaccines will record their second studio album in March.

This time the record will be produced by Ethan Johns, producer of Kings of Leon and Ryan Adams.

In a recent interview for NME, band frontman Justin Young said that the band will enter the studio in Belgium in March so that the album is out this year.

“We’ve definitely got six songs written that we all want to be on the record, but there’s tonnes of other new songs and we’re actually going into the studio out in Australia to work on ideas. I think we’re in a good place with it and it’s quite exciting,” – said Young.

Justin also explained their choice of a producer. In his words, the band always wanted to work with Ethan Jones as he brings “warmth” to his records.

The Vaccines will play a number of Asian shows in February, and will be back with concerts in mid-spring, playing gigs in Austria, USA and UK. Visit band’s official website for complete tour dates.
