The xx

The xx shared a new song, Open Eyes, on their official blog. This is a demo version of a track that was recorded while the band was working on their new album, the blog post states. You may listen to the track below.

As they started recording their second album in November, The xx kept updating their fans on the process in their blog. Album’s release date yet remains unknown, but in an interview for The Creators Project Jamie hinted that the band will try their best to make it until the festival season opening.

The xx are already confirmed to play Primavera Sound 2012, so there’s still hope to lay our hands on band’s second album in spring.
