When preparing to watch the new video for The xx’s Chained, you better wrap yourself with a warm blanket and have some warm tea at hand. For whatever’s going to happen on screen looks quite cold underwater. The video was made by Creators Project and directed by Young Replicant, known for music videos for M83 and Baths.

The xx’s very own Romy Madley-Croft and Oliver Sim are sometimes hard to differ from each other in this video, but it’s worth mentioning that Oliver looks very good even in those cold blue colors of the water.

Chained is taken off band’s latest album, Coexist, released this September.
