Stereophonics published a music video for their brand-new song, Violins And Tambourines, on October 8. The video was directed by band’s very own frontman Kelly Jones, who commented on it at Stereophonics’ official website: “I’ve loved film and music ever since I was a kid. When I first started writing songs I realised they could paint pictures in your mind, which inevitably leads to telling stories. I’ve always wanted to combine them both. Directing for the first time with a fantastic crew and cast was a great experience. Here’s an appetiser of film and new music from our 8th album – listen with headphones!”
The song is quite interesting itself, rich with string instruments, and represents a step forward in British band’s career.
New album from Stereophonics is anticipated to be out this year.
