After working on their new album for some time, we get to experience New Young Pony Club new music video ‘You Used To Be A Man’. Taking kaleidoscope images, mirroring off of the band themselves and using galaxy reflections far beyond us to get the point across. No far less it seems to be the same journey as an acid trip. New Young Pony Club is known for breaking certain boundaries which involve taking their new wave sound and crushing their fists around the progression from album to album. With an 80′s feel but an even combination of Tom Tom Club/ girl group kind of way. Heavy lyrics with Tahita Bulmer’s voice lying down like a fawn on top of snow, while the double downed back-beat keeps you guessing. I look forward to what they put out next, plus with a new video means a new album which should be existentially impressive.
